School Harassment Policy
The school’s Anti-Harassment Policy aims to establish means to recognize, prevent, discipline and do everything possible to eradicate violence, harassment, intimidation and any act considered harassment among students at our educational institution, as stated in the Ministry of Education’s proposed definition in its’ Anti-intimidation Law (Law 29719). At Casuarinas International College, all forms of bullying have been prohibited throughout the years through a coherent, broad and continuous program of educational school values.
We have twelve qualified psychologists who, together with the Head of the Department of Continual Formation, ensure that respect and tolerance are the center of student relationships, positively yet firmly reinforcing and applying the rules of coexistence. On the few occasions in which harassment has occurred, it has been immediately dealt with and the situations quickly resolved. The official document governing harmonious relationships within our school, given to parents at the beginning of each school year, contains an extensive list of sanctions given to those who may behave in this antisocial manner.
The school is dedicated to helping instill intrinsic motivation in each and every student to universally reject intimidation in order to create a continually sensitive and tolerant environment.
